It offers opportunities to explore our past with an eye toward the future, in areas spanning philosophy, religion, culture, science, and more.
The Emerging Worldview: This section explores how old views and beliefs about reality are giving away to a new understanding. The worldview that’s emerging is creating disruptions across the globe to our cultures, societies, religious institutions and our everyday lives. We’re now living through an age with one foot still firmly planted in our historical beliefs, and the other, tentatively searching for the new.
Implications: No one exists in isolation. In an interconnected world, our choices ripple outward, affecting people and ecosystems far beyond our immediate surroundings. This section encourages thinking related to what our shifting view of reality can mean for our nations, societies, cultures and everyday lives.
Learning from History: We’re not the only people on the planet who have been caught in the grips of massive shifts in our views of reality. People throughout the ages have undergone radical change in worldviews. This section examines those shifts with an aim toward discovering what they can teach us about the transformation we’re caught up in today.
